Oi, poor Mike. He's really got it bad for Chester lol man. I can feel his pain. Especially when he lost Chester's attention. That's always such a cold feeling. When you feel like the center of someone's universe - the only one in the room - and then when that's gone you just feel very cast aside.

But you know, if he's really going to feel like that - jealous and all - he should say something to Chester about it. Well, when he's ready. As he stated, he has a girlfriend and all. So it's a mixed bag.

Wow...Talinda dropped like a bomb, I didn't expected. And Chester just HAD to follow her. Poor Mike. Now, Tal will be between them like a needle. I just KNOW it...Hmph.

Seeing another side of Joe is refreshing. He's so adorable. I can imagine him trying to persuade his mom to buy the stuff that he wants. So cute.

I am so loving this story, I cannot wait for more! I'm very intrigued, I wonder how much drama will be incorporated into the story - such as if Chester's father comes back. I'm a sucker for these types of stories and you capture it perfectly. Kudos to you!

And yeah, I figured it was from 1996 or something because it is based on EARLY days. I liked it when Chester squeaked Mike's name hahaha! Cute and funny. And Doesn't Brad owe a very big thanks to Chester? I mean because of him Brad got to see Sophie. So I think Chester really deserve a huge thanks from him. I liked it when Chester and Mike blushed, I like to see them blush. I like to see every member of Linkin Park blush! :P

Brad and Sophie are so cute, I love how sweet of a boyfriend he is, I want a Brad! And I loved how he's trying to pick up a date for Rob on the sly haha nice thinking!

Mike and Ches are so cute and awkward and made for each other, I kinda get the feeling it's gonna be one of those things where their feelings are so obvious to everyone around except them. Chester knowing every line of Jurrassic Park was adorable and light hearted, but then I liked the more serious talk on the walk home, and how Mike tried to comfort Ches in his own way. I gotta admit, I was dying for Mike to hug him goodbye, I just wanna scoot them together until they kiss hehe.

Chester and his mom are so cute and sweet, and I agree with Maria, this is the first story I've seen where Chester is on such good terms with his mom. It's perfect the way you describe their bond, it lulls me into a fuzzy place to read how they interact and how much they care for each other.

Chester and Sean was cute but so sad in a way, it must be terribly hard to go through such a drastic move like he did, and leave everyone behind. I could feel him getting choked up and not really knowing how to explain the situation, and it made me wish for Mike to come back and hug him. I hope he does see his old friends again someday, I think he'll need that closure.

It made me delighted to know that you wrote more for this story for NaNoWriMo, and that it'll be longer than expected. I absolutely love long stories, I love this story, and I'll be in for the long haul. Thank you for translating and sharing with us, I'll be looking forward to your next update!

I was so happy to see this updated :D I really loved the awkward/cuteness between Mike and Chester. It's freakin' adorable. And they're both feeling it, even if they don't understand what it is yet.

The part at the end was kind of heart wrenching. And I'm sure I said this in the review of the first chapter, but how tragic that he was just snatched away in the middle of the night - away from friends and the place he knows. Not saying it wasn't ultimately for his good/safety, but still. For a teenager, that's got to seriously cut hard.

I like Sean. He seemed really understanding, and uplifting in his own way. I hope Chester will settle in, and really make some great friendships with the new group of ppl he's in. I think it's very showing of Chester's character that he feels guilty for "leaving" his band, even though it was out of his control.

Brad and his girlfriend...why is she gone so much? That would totally suck, but he's really sweet with her :)

This is the very first story that i've read of Chester with his mother and its just so cute! And i can somehow relate to chester like this line ( Suddenly he was overwhelmed with a strong longing for his home, not because of his father, but he missed his friends) that line felt so close to me, its how i always feel thinking about my old life and home.

Now i live in another place but go to old home (where dad lives) in holidays and i love it their, but i hate to live with my dad. Anyway, it was fun to read. Oh and Brad and Sophie are cute :3 *throws flowers on them* i liked Sophie's choice for the movie! It was a Nice movie....and thanks for updating!

Oh my gosh, this is such a cute story so far, I love it! I really love the bond between Chester and his mom, it must be so hard for them to flee from their home in Arizona to a near-stranger's house, but they still have each other, and that's what's important. Honestly, I kinda wanted to kick Brad for not being so nice to Chester at first, and then again for ditching him with Mike, but I think it worked out haha. Mike and Chester are already SO cute together, I loved them raiding the fridge and then playing chubby bunny, and I loved Chester's reaction to Milkshake, that was priceless. I don't like Anna here, she seems so vain and superficial, so I can say I'm wholeheartedly rooting for Chaz and Mike to get together since they already have great chemistry. Also, bravo on introducing a new pairing to the site, I've never seen hahnfield here before and it makes me very interested to see how that'll develop, especially if Chester sticka around or even ends up joining the band. Unfortunately that would give Joe one more reason not to like him, but I guess we'll see what happens...

All in all, you've done an amazing job with this story so far, and I can't wait to see where it goes next! Hope to see an update from you soon :)

First impression - these boys smoke way too much pot lol it's like, dang..come on. Which leaves me wondering if Mike's sudden attachment to Chester is real or just a chemical reaction. I hope it's real though, because they're super cute together. I love how Chester was ogling over Mike's room and I think they'll have more in common than they think. Especially when it comes to the band.

Not sure what to think of Joe. He seems really defensive when it comes to him and Mark. If they've had a lot of backlash over their relationship I can see where he'd have some knee jerk reactions to someone new, but still. I like how Mike defended Chester in that moment :)

The cat at the end was cute too. How funny that Mike's "good day" he thought was going to be ruined by Chester's appearance was made better by him :)

I LOVE CHARLENE!! Chester's Mom is so awesome I love her charecter! She's so unique!, the way she smoked with her son was so.....like, Wow!

And there meeting was really nice, the way Chester was wondering in Brad's room, was very casual and realistic. I remember going to my cousins house and this is how I met her. Very realistic, not over dramatic or anything.

And the worst things parents can do is comparing their child's grades with the kid of another family, I hate it when they do that!

No wonder Brad didn't liked either.

Hello! I was happy to see you update! I was just saying to myself earlier, "Why hasn't Rayden updated anything yet?"

True story.

This chapter. I like the relationship between Chester and his mom. And Chester even said it himself, they're a team. That's something very special. She's doing the best she can with what she has - we all are.

Brad seems nice, and Mike does too. I hope Mike will end up being nice. It's really hard to think of him as being anything but a sweetheart lol that's just my mental block.

I liked Brad's action figures. He's such a dork XD I'm hoping he and Chester will really bond and get along well, especially if Chester joins the band at some point.

Ohhh and the conversation Chester had with his mom about liking boys or girls. I like the foreshadowing on that and at least we know that his mom wouldn't have an issue with it. Can't say for anyone else's mothers.

Anna and Mike seem to be pretty tight. I'm wondering what could be strong enough to come between them...if something comes between them. Or maybe they're not as strong as they seem. We're only two chapters in, so anything could happen.

Update again soon. I miss the other story too :) and have fun at the concerts!!!
