Damn, is so clever and visually delicious. I felt like I was watching a movie, with this scene unfolding before my eyes. Exposition and backstory and stuff can be so tiresome, but you managed to turn it into a freaking magical display of sexiness that was entertaining and informative at the same time. Pure genius!

Also, when he conjured that food for Joe, I decided that if Chester was MY devil, I know what I'd request from him: non-stop food and random wardrobe changes! I'd just sit there eating delicious devil-food and watching him get dressed and undressed over and over. lmao. :D

I'm super curious how Dave's love of Brad will effect the plot. I also love how Chester's starting to realize that Mike is way more into men, and just unwilling to admit it. It gives me hope for the two of them. Hope that Mike will make it about Chester's feelings and safety, rather than just himself.

Yeah our little devil is right, it makes it easy to play with him... can’t wait to see where Chester I gonna take Mike. Will he get him to realize that he is running for a false dream?

Is it possible for a devil to fall in love? And what is Dave’s role in all of this?

Usually I'm kinda a "play-by-play" sort of girl on reviews of your chapters, but the thing that really gets me about this, having read it earlier today and having it simmering in my head for hours after, is all the information we get about Mike from Joe in this. It makes me wonder, thought, if Chester had been watching Mike for two months, wouldn't he have licked up on a lot of this? All of Mike's "rules" are interesting, and I have to wonder even more now what will really happen with Anna.

See, I THINK that Chester didn't really do anything to Rob when he said he did. I think he's going to make Mike work for it and realize in the course of that work that his heart really isn't in it with Anna. When Chester gives him what his heart wants immediately, it never seems to go well. And in this case, Mike has forbidden him to hurt Rob, so maybe Chester doesn't really know how to accomplish the end goal of having Mike and Anna together. Maybe it will take long enough that Mike's vision for his future will change. There's nothing I see indicated that the vision he showed Mike of his future is set in stone. In fact, he showed Mike what is future would look like without Chester's interference- but who is to say that Chester was telling the truth in either case? I mean, he was manipulating the situation to fit his own needs, so neither scenario has to be the absolute truth. That's my thought on whether Mike truly ends up with Anna. I don't think Chester was exactly lying about being able to make that happen, but I think he knew that somewhere along the lines, Mike's ideas of what he wanted would change. What Joe says seems to confirm that. I think Mike would be happier with a dude! I'll say it again - a completely straight guy wouldn't be letting other guys suck them off! I just don't think that happens in the real world! (Maybe I'm naive.)

AND DAVE. Dave's gay?? I did NOT see that coming. I wonder how that plays into everything for Chester. I loved Chester's reaction to everyone being in love with Brad, haha! That was awesome. And poor Joe, watching and remembering nothing of the strip tease. :)

I think this was awesome for moving things forward and giving us more insight on Mike without it having to come straight from him. Great chapter!

Your A/N made me laugh. You are right, we don't have any faith in Mike. And I guess we should. I was scared with the ending of the last chapter, but now he was protecting Rob from Chester. That's good. I'm curious what exactly Chester did to get him out of way after Mike refused all of his previous ideas.

God, poor Joe. Chester got some really interesting and useful information from him. Now I think he understands Mike a little better. Especially all his 'dating rules'. Joe is right. It was pretty obvious that he doesn't really love Anna. He just forced himself to think he does, because he knew that his parents would be satisfied this way. He doesn't want to admit to himself what will really make him happy - and that is relationship with a guy. But Chester is here to make him happy, so he won't let him lie to himself anymore, right? So maybe he will sabotage all Mike's attempt to get Anna?

Chester has to do what Mike wants. But... is it that he has to do what Mike says he wants? Or is it that he has to do what Mike's heart truly wants? Because if the latter is the case, than he doesn't really have to help him with Anna, and instead he should wake him up and start to accept his true desires.

Aaaand also - Farrelson! Hell yes! I love these two together. :D Please tell me there will be some plot twist with those two!

Ooh! Dazed Joe spilling everything he knows was so much fun to me! It does make you think a bit more about Chester's abilities, too.

I am so, SO curious about that bit with Rob. I want to know what Chester did! Especially since whatever it was didn't take immediate effect, like we've (including Mike) gotten used to. I feel like that one may take some time to develop... which is totally okay, too, but I'm being impatient and wanna know NOW!

Goddammit, this is so addictive. Your descriptions of Chester are delicious. More than delicious. They're like crack. I could read a whole chapter of you just describing Chester and his clothes and not get bored for a single second. How...? I don't get how you do that but, dammit, I love it. :D

And Mikey seems to be getting a bit corrupted by his devil! Oh dear! How far will he go before he realises he's fucking with dangerous shit, I wonder? And what's up with Chester's nightmares? Will Mike change him somehow? Will they change each other? For the better or for the worse?

GAH. The potential and the intrigue here... It's too much! In a good way. I love it.

I don't even remember if I wrote a review earlier or not. And I'm running out of time (again) after my review-marathon, but I wanted to at least leave a few words.

It is a really interesting concept and even though I don't agree with everything Chester does (no, he really shouldn't hurt other people and Mike should make that clear), I like his character. Being pushy and in a way protective... I just hope that Mike will figure out that it is ok to be with a guy because with his idea of "finding a girl, getting married, getting children" he is not becoming a happy person in the end because he is ignoring that he maybe can have feelings for guys as well. But we will see what time (and the devil ;)) brings!

So nightmares. Or maybe they are not just dreams - maybe while his body is sleeping, his mind returns to Underworld. And he was having a hard time with his 'boss' or something? I can only guess.

But I see that's why he said Mike shouldn't sleep with him. I have a feeling that Chester would say "I don't WANT you to sleep with me" but he couldn't because, well, he's obliged to do everything Mike wants, and what Chester wants isn't important. -_- Which is kinda sad.

And I completely agree with A.N. on this - Mike realizing he can do literally everything with Chester is scary. Even more scary that he is actually contemplating doing so. But lets be honest - who wouldn't at least think about it? Chester has created his body as irresistible for Mike. So it's not entirely Mike's fault that he wants him so much, but... but I still hope that he won't start taking advantage of him.

Though I have a bad feeling that this won't be exactly the case. Just look at how easily he caved in with the idea of accident happening to Rob. Or that he doesn't have a slightest problem with idea of practically forcing Anna to love him. And also - he says that he loves her, but when you love someone, you're supposed to care about their well-being. Anna is obviously happy with Rob, and she would be heartbroken if something happened to him. And Mike doesn't give a damn about that, he doesn't give a damn about hurting her in process of gaining her 'love'.

Mike in your story really isn't a very likeable person. Which is completely weird for me btw, because in real life, Mike is my biggest love and I adore everything about him. :D And I'm so used to love him that it's strange to feel such resentment now. Which only proves your writing skills!

Wow, Chester plays into Mike's narcissism perfectly.

That being said, I'm scared for Chester. Mike's realizing he can do ANYTHING to the devil, and he's very ready to take advantage of that. It's creepy, and I'm certain you intended that.

I really don't want anything to happen to Rob, either. This is based solely on my real-life crush on Rob, and how much I fucking adore him. He's the most perfect kind of cute imaginable. Which means that whatever accident is about to happen to him, is gonna break my damn heart, and be the greatest writing ever.

By the way, we happened to each write something recently about Chester swaying his hips to music only he can hear/music that doesn't seem to be there, and about Mike admiring him from a distance. Coincidences like these are so goddamn cute and make my day :D

This fic is quite literally making me the devil's advocate. Like, wtf!

I realized it when Chester said, “An accident, Michael,” he whispered, “can be a desperate man’s best friend.” ...and my reaction was pretty much, "LOL TRUUUUUUE!"

Chester's certainly got quite the hold over Mike, I see, as evidenced by how easily he seemed to cave on his whole "no more hurting people issue." Which is just so fitting.

I definitely can't hate Chester. It's like a guilty pleasure or something.

I love how enthralled he is with Anna, and the image of him putting his hand over his heart as he watches her just melted me. And then Chester walks in on his way to a bondage engagement (another brilliant line.) The collar. Oh my. How can you want to look at Anna when Chester has on a spiked collar? The fingernails! I am fingerling right now over this description of DevilChester.

Hahah, all the food! Three bags of Skittles, lol. I love how all of our stories have food. And lovely descriptions of Chester's clothes. You never disappoint. What DOES disappoint me is how quickly Mike gives up his "no hurting people rule" when Chester says he can't control matters of the heart. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, since he did sell his soul to a devil. Just, come on Mike, I thought you were better than that. *sobs*

This is mostly just a play by play of how brilliant your lines are, but... anyway... as usual, worth waiting for. <3

Dave is protected by a Holy Spirit?! That's such a cool idea! When there was that moment when Chester suddenly felt the need to distance himself from Dave, I thought that it would be because Dave is also a devil who had his eyes set on Mike, and that there will be some showdown between these two over who will get Mike's soul or some other cliché like that. :DDD My brain is sometimes so simple. The thought that Dave is christian and so he belongs to Upperworld never even crossed my mind. :D Chester said this will make his job harder. I guess that means that while Chester can mingle with normal people - like make clothes disappear, attack someone with bees or make a girl fall for Brad - he cannot use his tricks against Dave. And since Dave is Mike's friend and he is also very perceptive, Chester will have to be super careful around him. Or so I guess.

The BJ scene was just... well hot :D I don't understand why Mike still tried to resist when he was lusting after Ches since he first saw him. And why shouldn't he fall asleep with him? Does Ches lose his human form while sleeping or what? :'D

Hurray for Brad! That was cute, his flirting with Elisa. I'm glad you put that in, because it puts focus on more than just Mike's character.

I'm very curious about what effect the mark on Dave will have on the current situation. And good lord, the way Chester gets himself into that dorm room, it's sick but it's so deliciously devious at the same time. I love it :D

I have to say though, as hot as it was for Chester to blow Mike, at the same time, I feel like Chester didn't get any enjoyment out of doing that. I feel like there's a stress component to what he does, like he's under pressure to do the best work possible, and this isn't fun for him. It's almost tragic, and kinda sad. Mike needs to show Chester a good time, and I don't necessarily mean sexually, I mean doing something fun together for the sake of having fun. Like getting ice cream together, or something.

On another note, just because Chester is willing to do anything for Mike to ensure he doesn't fail at taking him to the Underworld, doesn't mean Mike should take advantage him. I hope Mike gets to learn a lesson about that.

Chester is smooth with his distraction of Brad with Elisa... I hope Brad continues to be easy to distract so that Chester doesn't have to resort to other ways of keeping Brad out of his business. Yikes.

Ok. Chester's reaction to Dave- I seriously felt my blood run cold. I was reading so fast to find out what had caused Chester to turn so quickly. Delightfully, this also explained why Chester chose Mike- sort of. Ha. Like, I get that Mike's life was a mess and he'd be easily manipulated, but Chester stops short of telling us why it was so important that he succeeds, so DAMN IT, I still don't know all of it. Ha, you are so good at keeping the reader wanting more.

"Don't lie to me, Michael." I seriously said, 'oh, fuck' out loud and I was at school, so yeah... I'm gonna get fired, haha. Luckily I was in my office, but still. Chester is a force to be reckoned with in this story, and I love it. Overpowering, dominating Chester? Sign me up. And- given that you know I loooooove Mike the way I do, I'm surprised I'm up for DomChaz. But apparently, when you write him, I totally am. God. So fucking hot. Like, when he made Mike stop talking, I was again thinking - Mike, you are in over your head!! Oh, Mike!!! And the way he looks Mike up and down, ahhh!! I would be throwing myself on this devil, I would.

Ok. These bees. What a nightmare. I mean, really, a personal nightmare of mine. I'm not allergic, but yuck. I hate bees. Mike seems to start to fathom that he's screwed, now, too... but then... then... omg, that blowjob. Hang on, I'll get back to that.

Poor Mike with the surreptitious photos of Anna, his inability to get her right from a reference, but then drawing Chester from memory, and doing it well? Damn. This devil is going to get what he wants from Mike, no matter what it takes. I just about died when Mike could hear Chester's voice in his head. Little did I know I was about to read the greatest description of Chester going down on Mike in the history of fan fiction. Holy hell, that was smoking' hot. Yes, Mike, baby, I'd crawl into bed with that devil, too. Just. Damn.
