this story nearly made me cry,it's so sweet...

Good god, Autumn, I love your writing like crazy. Re-reading this for like the twentieth time, I still love it. Every time I read this, I end up re-reading small sections of it at a time, because that's what it takes to wrap my head how amazing it is - it needs to be savored. This is the fic I read when I need to feel better - and it works! <333

That was soooo cute ! I can picture this happening. Chester just dumping down on Mikes lap, the picture of the two of them, the look in their eyes, Mike kissing Chester, Chester just trowing himself over Mike the second their lips split... I love it. A LOT ! <3

This was so lovely and intense - one of those fics you just have to read over and over.

Everything about this was perfect...I'm trying to put into words exactly what I loved about it, but I can't because it was all just so damn good that I'm still speechless.

As usual, I had to wait a few days after reading before reviewing. Your writing just knocks my socks off! I almost feel like I need to catch my breath and regain my composure before being able to type coherently.

I love how you conveyed the giddy, smiling mood of Chester at the beginning. How laid back he was! And the image of Chester weeding his flower bed really made me smile. It's those little 'real life' touches that make your work so enjoyable to read.

I loved how you had Mike & Chaz squashed together in front of the computer. I'm sure Mike has plenty of chairs in his house, but neither of them even considered separate seating!

When that pic comes onscreen of them in the bunk I nearly died. This line was delicious:

"Your stomach burns hot at the sight of your flamed forearms clutching his tanned waist."

I love your detailed descriptions, too. I can actually *see* the bloody photograph even though it's not real! It's lines like "...the way one of his strong, muscled legs is thrown over yours, keeping you his prisoner..." that make me squirm.

Oh, and I also loved your description of Mike's long fingers. They *are* scarily long, aren't they? No one seems to mention it much though.

I think your build-up the emotions before the kiss was spot on. Really effective, I could feel the tension between them, the uncertainty. And Chester biting his lip? L.o.v.e.

Everything was so natural between them, I think the line "...like there is no other way for this conversation to go but here..." sums it up perfectly.

My stomach did a little jump at this bit:

"There is no kiss you can recall that feels remotely like this, that has ever made your insides burn and melt the way they are now."

Ok, so I'm going to stop quoting lines now because there are just too many good ones to choose the best!

I loved your description of the kissing. You made the whole event so intense and intimate, I almost felt like I was intruding on their moment. Didn't stop me though ;)

The final image of Mike dragging Chester into his bed made me extremely happy. Part of me would love another chapter, but I'm not going to be greedy - I reckon it's actually perfect on it's own.

What I really loved was, the fact that Mike really does always look exhausted/never sleep. So that's a nice little tie in for this story. Hah

this was perfect. you know those bennoda dreams you have where everything is perfect? this was one of those.

and at the same time, you managed not to make me vomit. or feel it was cliche or overdone. so it was perfect, really, in that respect too. like it wasn't cheesy or so fluffy i was choking. you struck the balance, so, so well.

which, needless to say, made it so enjoyable to read and so believable. it was pretty much a case of me having to remember at the end that it was just fiction. sigh.

i liked how chester was so keen to get to mike and i like that mike called chester over, like they both couldn't hide their enthusiasm for one another? and we picked up on that in the opening words so it was like us watching in on the pair of them and flailing. a lot.

i loved the everyday-thing of them looking through photos together - something we all do - but how they both shared excitement and curiosity and how this changed to them both sitting slack jawed (so i pictured) when they came across (lol, lol, lol) the photo of them curled up together and it was like the image was so perfect? and the fact that it was so perfect seemed to hit them both in the face so suddenly, like, it gave them the nudge they seemed to need to just freefall into one another.

god damit, my review is getting cheesy and vomit worthy, i just, well - it has taken me several days to get to writing this, so excuse me for sounding so fucking fangirly, but i really enjoyed this. bennoda at it's happiest and cutest when there's no angst - who in fuck's name would have thought i'd say that?! but that sort of bennoda makes me warm in the heart and fuzzy all over.

i'll stfu now, but thanks for putting my faith back into bennoda and showing us all how this pairing is not tired and old and is most certainly still for being unique and creative (and flawless)

i agree with mike wanatabe...this was sooo good.... i've read so much Bennoda that sometimes its just too much but this was really really good....^_^

Whenever you think that bennoda is dead, that everything is too cliche for now, and that nothing can excite you anymore, you just need a great writer to prove you wrong. You're here to prove that I'm wrong. Beautiful and so sweet. I wish there was something like a favorite author section so I can put you in. Love all of your pieces of writing. Absolutely 10/10 :)

I swear...I know I've said this before but...every single piece you write leaves me wanting like 20 more chapters...Your bennoda is some of the best I've ever read and this fic is no different in that respect. You capture the true essence of these two like no other.
