"Mike! We're leaving! See you in a week!"

Mike's parents were going on a cruise for a week, leaving Mike alone over his summer vacation. They were going to tour Europe while Mike stayed home in little ol' California.

"Bye, you guys!" Mike called after them, laying on his bed. He pretended to be reading a magazine, when out of nowhere, his mother appeared.

"No parties, you can have no more than 2 friends over at a time with their parent's permission, and no staying on the computer too much," she warned, her voice cold as ice.

"Relax, it'll be fine, now go! you'll miss your flight," Mike responded, flipping his hand into the air, motioning for her to leave. She did such, leaving him home alone.

When Mike heard their limousine leave their long driveway, Mike knew just what to do first.

Go onto the Internet.

He went to all his favorite websites, checked all the headlines, and laughed or cried with all the news. When his parents stayed home, he couldn't be so loud. He was required to stay quiet so his father could focus on work. Since his father nor his mother were around, he let all his emotions fly around in circles around the abandoned home.

Soon, he ran out of things to do. He didn't want to leave, though. "Wait! People always do those 'notes' on Facebook! Why not fill one out? What could happen..." Mike thought, daringly. He googled "Facebook note surveys" and found a general basic one to start with....

Mike paused and pondered. Sure, he had somewhat of a dysfunctional family. Sure, he lost his little brother after a car accident. Sure, his family didn't really include him in much. But he still smiled as he typed.

Mike stopped to think again. After everything, after his past, nightmares were a regular thing for him. None of which were anything less than petrifying. He decided to just make something up.

-Well...once, there was a giant Twinkie that wanted to make me a Twinkie too...if you catch my drift...(sex.)

-I have noooo clue, too many to choose

Chester is Mike's best friend. They've been through thick and thin together, surviving first middle school and then going into high school. Now, they're just waiting for junior year to begin...together.

Mike read over everything before submitting the survey to be posted on his page. He smiled and reread it as it was published. A few people merely "liked" it after some minutes passed, which made him grin.
