“Dear Mike,

I didn’t know how to tell you this so I’m writing it. Ever since I laid my eyes on you at my audition all those years ago I’ve been madly in love with you. I didn’t want to tell you in case you didn’t love me back but since I’m writing it I don’t have to see your reaction if you freak out or something. If you don’t feel the same way and never want to talk to me again I understand. I just had to tell you sometime and now I am so there you have it. I’m madly in love with you.

Mike walked onto the bus and over to his bunk. He sat down and noticed a piece of paper next to him. He grabbed the paper and opened it up. What he read made him want to jump for joy. So he does feel something for me he thought as he was reading Chester’s note. Mike was just in total shock. The love of his life loved him back. He reread the note over and over again taking it all in. Well I guess I’ll have to send him a note back he thought. He put the note in his pocket and went over to get some paper and a pencil. He was lost for words. He had no idea what to say. He sat there thinking for what felt like hours (even though it was really a couple of minutes) until finally something came to him. He started to write:

“Dear Chester,

Never talk to you again?! Are you crazy?! I wouldn’t dream of it because I feel the same way. It was the same thing with me. I had no idea how to tell you. I’m just glad you got the courage to say something and I didn’t have to. That’s what I love about you. You’re insane and take risks. I can’t do that. Well, I guess that’s all I have to say about it. Talk to you later

He put the note onto Chester’s bunk and went back out by the other guys. Chester looked really nervous. Here it comes he though as Mike walked over to him. “Hey Chester I think you left something on your bunk. Why don’t you go get it?” he said. What’s going on here? Chester thought as he walked back into his “room.” He didn’t leave anything on his bunk. Then he saw the note Mike wrote. He picked it up and sighed. He’s never going to talk to me again Chester thought as he started opening the note. What he saw made his heart leap. He had never felt happier in his life. He screamed (a little too loud) and put the note in his pocket. “Dude what are you screaming for?” Mike came in and asked with a wink. “Do you really?” Chester asked breathlessly. Mike nodded and Chester ran into his arms. Chester and Mike’s dream finally came true. They were together.
