"Why are you in such a good mood Rob?" Joe asked the drummer before practice.

Rob flashed Joe a big grin and gave Joe a hug.

"Dude I am in love" Rob said to Joe.

"I know were friends and all, but I don't think I could carry out a serious relationship with you" Joe said pulling away from Rob.

Rob smacked Joe upside the head and sat behind his drums. "I'm not talking about you loser, i'm talking about Melanie." Rob said picking up his drumsticks.

"Dude you're so sappy".

"Hey at least I found someone my age. How old is your girlfriend again? seventeen?"

"She's nineteen dude, and besides, it's not liked you havent dated yonuger girls before."

"Whatever Joe, you can't ruin my happiness no matter how hard you try."

"So if I told you that I slept with Melanie while you were visiting your parents a few weeks ago, you wouldn't get mad?"

Rob gave Joe an evil look and the d.j quickly stopped talking, but snickered when Rob wasn't looking.

The silence was broken when Mike, Brad, Phoenix, and Chester walked in.

"What are we talking about?" Brad asked while walking over to where his guitar was sitting.

"Not much, Rob was just telling me how much he is in love with me and Melanie" Joe said flashing Rob a smile while the younger man continued to glare at him.

The other four members gave Joe a strange look.

"Joe what are you going on about?" Phoenix asked.

"Ignore him. He's just jealous," Rob explained, smirking at Joe.

"Okay everybody shut up and lets practicce" Chester said while holding his microphone.

They practiced for over two hours before they finally decided to call it quits.

(Robs POV)

Practice was finally over and I couldn't wait to see Melanie.

I quickly packed up my stuff and told the guys that I would see them at practice tomorrow.

I jumped in my car and drove towards Melanie's apartment.

Melanie and I met about two months ago at a bar the guys and I went to.

She's a bartender there on the weekends, and goes to nursing school during the weekdays.

The minute I saw her, I knew I was in love.

We started talking on the phone before we finally met for dinner.

We have so much in common it scares me sometimes.

When I got to her apartment I noticed a note on the door with my name on it.

I opened up the note and read it to myself.

Rob,

I went to the store to pick up a few things. Just let urself in with the key I gave u this morning and make urself comfortable.

I smiled to myself and put the note in my pocket.

I pulled out the key she gave me and went into the apartment.

As soon as I walked in I could smell something delicious cooking in the kitchen.

I walked through the small living room and to the kitchen door.

When I got there, there was a note that said "No peeking" on it.

I walked back to the living room and sat on the couch.

I couldn't think of anything else to do, so I turned on the t.v and started flipping through the channels.

A few minutes later Melanie walked through the door with two grocery sacks in her hands.

I ran over to her and tried to take the bags from her, but she held onto them firmly.

"I got these, why don't you go clean up for dinner" She said to me as she walked into the kitchen.

I shrugged my shoulders and went into the bathroom to clean up.

After I was finished I went to the kitchen and knocked on the door.

"Hold on just a sec."

About a minute later Melanie opened the door to let me in.
