i thought that this was extremely touching. it's very good in the sense that it's simple, and written without effort. yes, the pun is intended.
i liked that chester pined so endlessly for mike, and that mike was just... gaaah, i loved mike in this story. he was too sweet and inflicting, making poor chester love him like that. definitely going into my favorites, dear.
