Sorry for this super late review.. reading fics based on the band and not AU, always makes me all dreamy and emotional, because I can easily imagine what if this actually happened? Your fic feels so real I can't help but wonder if this is something that could've happened.

This chapter was again so cute and sexy, starting with those secret kisses and make out sessions before the shows, and then when started sharing a room, and that first blow job oh Lord! It was really hot... I love how despite of being so hot for each other they still were thinking about not running their friendship.

I'm glad they were able to open up to the other guys.. is very difficult to try and hide a relationship when you're all the time surrounded by a lot of people and is better they just confessed things instead of being discovered, it ain't anything wrong with what they are doing...

The fight on Valentines!!! Yeah, I know Mike would like to have the last word on their arguments! And I love how Chester brought that little gift and they were able to make peace, it was really cute! Please update soon❤

My favorite part was the first kiss in the hallway. All the angst and aggression. It was awesome. BUT! I want to know more about this Mike kissing Chester in his sleep thing lol you just threw that out there and then said nothing ! Like, dude! Killing me.

I actually really appreciate the V day fight. I think when you go from friends to lovers, you're going to find out a lot about the other person, and that's part of Mike's personality. But if anyone can get him to feel a little more romantic, it will be Chester.

Oh! Favorite line ever: Everything in my mind was Chester, and there was no space for anything else. - this is like, so on point. The struggle is real! I so have my days like this. So I feel for Mike.

I was actually really worried when they came back from break and Chester didn't follow Mike into the hallway or look at him on stage....it was a small moment of "oh no!" but it worked out :)

This is how it really could have gone, you know? The bickering and the passion for each other under the surface of everything. I love how Mike admits he always has to get the last word, and how he's kinda clueless about things like being romantic and such. I know I said it last time, but this is really cute and I like the format. Just enough story to make me smile.

Sooo much I loved in this chapter! :D This update calls for a list review so I hope you like those. ;)

The things I loved and/or that stood out to me:

1.) That one pre-show kiss turning into a ritual and causing Mike to be even more restless during their off time because he had to go without. I can totally understand why though. I’m pretty sure I’d experience Chester withdrawal too if I was in his shoes. ;)

2.) The blow job scene - incredibly hot. You know how I feel about your slash. <3

3.) The New Year’s Eve scene was so adorable. *happy sigh* Perfect Bennoda fluff.

4.) Their fight on Valentine’s Day - despite the obvious tension, some of that made me chuckle. Mike’s line about calling Ches darling and writing him love letters every day was especially humorous. And, for whatever reason, had Bennoda been real, that’s how I could see it going; Chester being the sappier/more romantic one of the two. Oh! And Chester asking Mike how long he had to rehearse what he’d said was good too! haha He knew Mike wasn’t that smooth :p

I feel like I’m forgetting a lot. But, regardless, I was happy to see this update. :) Can’t wait for the next one!

Another cure chapter! I was wondering when you'd update this, so I was happy and surprised to see a new chapter today :)

I still like the format, because it allows the plot to move forward faster than other chaptered stories. It went from innocently kissing to making out to a blowjob that was hot as hell, btw, and then to a real relationship with a fight. I loved it!

First of all, I love the title "Smoke and Christmas Cookies" and it's a shame that wasn't the title of this chapter! Not sure why that stuck with me, but it did. I think my favorite moment was on the bus. Poor Chester being sick. He seemed so pathetic and sad and my heart loves that kind of thing. And he went to Mike for help. I do love the full circle at the end...even though they finally have a hotel room, Chester still wanted to crawl in bed with Mike. I liked the pizza place section, too. I think it's amazing when you look back over your life at the times when you meet certain people - the people who forever change your life - and at the time you have no idea about it.

I don't find this style confusing at all, and I'm curious to see what happens next. It's funny how we all have our own little versions of how things might have gone. I'm digging yours so far :)

I love the way you're writing this.. makes it even more interesting. Their early band days were so amazing, I hope you continue this.. all those moments just show how attracted they are to each other and I love you are telling it from Mike's point of view, Mike's POV is always my favorite. Please update soon, I know the better is yet to come. You're doing an amazing job❤

I can't tell you how perfectly I pictured the mistletoe thing! I could see/hear it perfectly in my mind, and what a Chester thing to do! Great scene.

I like this little snapshot approach to telling their story. It's always fun to see what other people's imaginations pull up when they think of how things could have gone if Bennoda was real. Excited to see where you go with this!

Like mermaid, I got really excited when I saw that you had posted something new! I was scared you had disappeared from the website, which is why I'm glad that this is not the case :)

I love this snapshot format, you have no reason to think that it's weird or anything. This first chpter was great, I really liked it, especially the way you describe the progress in Mike's and Chester's relationship. I loved the scene in the tourbus where Mike just allows Chester to sleep in his bunk with him; it was so cute! Actually, i loved all the scenes. The made-up mistletoe thing was great!

First, I get so excited every time your name pops up after you’ve been gone for a bit. You’re definitely missed when you’re not as active on here. <3 But I do understand. Life and all that. Anywho...

This is really cute so far and I’m looking forward to future chapters. :) The theme of Chester asking Mike “Is this/that okay?” and Mike always being, like, “Of course” is just heart-warming. And has a realistic feel to it. At least to me it does.

Two of my favorite moments - 1.) Chester all giddy and jumping on Mike, taking him by surprise. I pictured all of that perfectly. And, again, it felt very much like something that could’ve happened IRL 2.) Chester making up that urban legend about mistletoe hahaha Love it! :D
