This was cute but very haunting, and a great snapshot into their lives. I could definitely see Brad feeling that way, and I think Rob might be the only one who would go along with it, lol.
It is a tempting idea to disappear and start over, especially after something traumatic like losing a friend. I just hope when they wake up they'll realize it's not as simple as it seems. Since it's a oneshot we'll never know, and I actually like that. It keeps me thinking.
Nicely done, I really enjoyed it! Rated :)

I really like the whole "less than a thousand words" idea. I'm impressed. I love that this was set in the present and between the two "under the radar" guys of the band. I do love me some Bourdelson. They're so easy to see together and you did a great job setting up their little reality. I wonder what the plan was. I wonder if they actually do it. I wonder if they end up missing their life. I wonder what clean shaved and cleaned up older Rob looks like. Thanks for creating something new and different. Loved it :)

A very interesting little story; I'm amazed how you can fit so many feelings in just 999 words! I don't know this 'dateline' show you're describing, because it's not on TV in my country, but it has certainly made Brad think about 'just disappearing', which is a scary thought. Running away, hiding and not telling anyone is nothing I've ever considered (so far).
I agree with the other reviews; this story is a mix between funny and sad, thanks for sharing!

For less than a 1000 words, you managed to convey a lot. I think too that this is a mixture of funny and sad. Like, I definitely smiled a lot throughout but frowned too.
Of course, the mention of a post-Chester world always tugs at my heart strings :’( And, what I personally took from this, is that Chester’s passing is playing a big role in Brad’s wanting to disappear which just adds an extra bit of sadness to everything.
I found Rob and Brad very cute in this though. <3 Like, if this wasn’t a one shot, I’d totally be ready and open to reading more about them. :) Kinda curious to see what happens next.
Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing!

This was a mix of funny and utterly sad. Funny because it's Dateline, and I can so see Brad getting paranoid and asking questions about people going missing lol and right after sex! That's great coming down talk. But the sad part was when you realized he was serious about running away. I can't imagine being so unhappy with my life that I would want to disappear like that. To pretend like something awful had happened to me, just to start over.
Poor boys.
And obviously Rob is feeling some of that, too. He agreed at the end, and it was like Ugh, right to my heart. I obviously hope they don't do it, but we'll never know since this was just a little one shot. I think you managed to capture the emotion though, so kudos on that. I think Bourdelson might be your second calling. After Bennoda, of course. Thank you for sharing! I always adore your stuff, even when it is short and leaves me thinking and wanting more.
Also, the smoking...I have such a hard time picturing those two doing that! lol

I don't even know what to say. Still wanted to leave a "wow, that was pretty amazing" here. It was cute and, at the same time, super super depressing. But I can also relate to it. Sometimes that thought of just disappearing is so evident....
