Rob is becoming more and more intriguing. Me likey. I'm sad that Chester is losing himself. He's a strong character and it's about time he realizes it. The 'split' with Sam is good in the long run. They would've been miserable if they stayed together.

I wish chapter was longer a bit. I read that you want to stop writing. I don't want that to happen, will try what I can to review best with translator. I can't say a lot about the chapter except that rob was gay and no one can have expected, lol. scene with news. does he crush on chester?

The way you described Chester's action though, A double plus for your skills mr, that was epic. Sam is such a kid, more than Chester is, I mean if your relationship has issues just fix yourselves by talking to each other instead of acting like children. Chester isn't any better. I love the way you pointed out the news of Rob's homosexuality which caught me off guard, he doesn't look like a gay male to me either like comments below say. And he does have a crush on Chester, I'm sure of this, the end was waaay to sneaky flirty. Curiosity, is there a typo on Chester's last words or am I blind? This story is so great, you're great.

It's well-written, the characters are well built and in each chapter they are more and more real.

But things are always so confused! I do find it hard to understand what is going on.

Even the ending leaves me confused ............. are there still many secrets?

I'd love to start my review by cursing you again, but I loved this chapter too much. I actually really liked the dialogue in it. I don't know people's problems with dialogue when it's done properly, as yours is. I liked seeing the characters interact in their own way, and you do such a great job at giving them all very unique and distinct personalities and voices, it's just good for me seeing how they talk differently to different people and how each of them are different.

Anywho. How nice of Mike to give Chester a job! I wasn't expecting that. When Mike was listening to Chester tell Rob at the bar, I thought he'd be like "here have some money" and throw $100 on the floor like he's paying a hooker or something. Because you know. It's just the kind of thing I can see Mike doing :D But giving him a job is even better.

Aw, and I loved Jay talking about his girlfriend, so cutesy. And I love how he is with Chester, he acts like they're old pals already. Mike taking him to spend time with Jay to get his little brother out of his hair basically was just hilarious. Such an older sibling move.

Anyway, I would love to leave a longer review but I have limited time at the moment, and I still need to read and review Because Of You because I've been promising for literally months and... nothing. So, this is it for now. This was awesome and you are awesome <3

Hi I'm finally here to leave a review haha I've read it some days earlier. It's long haha I enjoyed it so much.

I can't help but smile when Mike always helps Chestur outta his trouble and then throw him his grumpy and callous face hahaha but instead he's concerned about the boy. What a cute combination.(recently I've watched a manga where the pair acts REALLY a like bennoda and I instantly fell for it hahaha)

And I'm also delighted to know a little more about Mike(the mystery-like man) and his cute brother.

I almost always prefer Chester. It is just like that. *waving Ches-flag* And I just love his curious and cute nature in this story - still I think he could be much more 'badass'. I bet it's slumbering somewhere deep inside him.

And even if I really do love Mike in your story, I find him a bit too cool - that makes him arrogant. I don't like that even if its freaking hot and also is needed to be that good of a leader like him. I'm conflicted with him, you know.

Both of them should just find a middle thing. :D

I like Jason very much. He is like a little brother should be and I like that he talks to Chester. I also love that you have him in the story. So yeah, I think he is my fav next to Mike and Chester.

If I liked one story of an author I will scroll their old ones.

How awsome of Mike to get Chester a new job. I like that he shows his symphatics towards the curious new one in their group in such little things, but he still acts as if he wouldn't accept him fully. That's funny. I bet it will be much more fun working in that record store, seeing that I actually is a musicain himself (by the way, I'd love if you would write a bit more about that. You often call him musicain, but he almost never sings or something like that)

And oh, there is Mark! I love Mark! I want much more of him!

And more Jason. I liked it that the two of them had been able to share the afternoon together and we got so many new information. That's super. Still I'm also surprised that Mike took Chester back to his house. I bet this is also a big move and indicates that Chester is actually integrated in this group of Mike's.

Oh and Samantha is leaving. I'm sorry for Chester. Still I don't really care. She just was this annoying secondary character. Maybe with a bigger role of her I would have cared more. On the other hand she kind of seemed like a bound, that would Chester hold back. I'm curious how he reacts. Maybe he is going to go much more wilder?

Beautiful chapters! You write extremely well, and it only gets better and better as the story progresses. You’re really talented! These characters are rounded so well, even Mike’s pets! I just feel so connected with everyone and the atmosphere that you have placed these characters in. I feel like I really know the place. I was waiting for the big talk between Sam and Chester. They would only hold each other back and Chester really needs to surge forward at this point. He’s really making an effort to try to be accepted by Mike and his friends, and that’s so great to see him happy and motivated. I hope he’s successful when the deadline is up. Rob is amazing. Everyone needs a friend like Rob and I’m so grateful that Chester has him as sort of a mentor. I was happy to see Jay come back around! I really adore the little brother and how he can make Mike bend to his will because they’re family and they love each other. There are so many family elements in this story and I love seeing everyone interact and react to one another because of the strong, devoted emotions they feel towards each other. Some of those emotions are even being directed towards Chester as he works his way inside. I enjoy the glimpses into the past. Mike really has risen up and come a long way. He’s a hard-worker and he may come off rigid, but he’s passionate because no one is successful without passion. Obviously, he has a soft spot for Chester. Giving him a job? I wasn’t expecting that! But I’m glad he did because these setbacks won’t help Chester. He needs a clear head and a lot of inspiration. I also like the additions of Mike’s culture. I love the inclusion of his language and his past. Everything that makes his character up is great. The pace of this story is also great! Things are building up, relationships are changing, the plot is thickening. I can’t wait for the next chapter!

Why didn't you tell me you updated? I ate this chapter so fast, finally a ton of information about Mike! And the entire story develops faster now. So Jason fell in love huh? I wonder who it is, I swear for a moment it felt like Anna was about to join the story as a character. It would've been too predictable, you're doing an awesome job. Mike irritated by his own brother, typical. Did you see him in the chat? It was hilarious, he looked pissed at everything and everyone. Anyway, Chester got fired because he was less useful than the other employees or something? Because it felt like that, and it's not like he's a bad musician in reference to real life. They're going to regret that move. And there is Mark now, we know what he does and for who, I just didn't expect him to be related to Mike that way, what a surprise.. Mr Shinoda is such a good title for him though. And it was so nice of him to put those friends together for the day, he does sound like a father or older brother, stereotypically. I like him but he's a jerk. But a thoughtful one. And again you took me by surprise with Sam, I was almost dead sure she was telling him she was pregnant or something, a heavy weight fell off my chest. Thank god it's just her moving. MOVE SAM. Hahaha No one cares! I'm kidding. Loved it so much please be faster!

Thanks for updating. Mike's warming up to Chester. Awww.... he's cute when he's pretending to be a hard ass. I really love Jason. He's an amazing friend and a great brother.

It sucks that Chester lost his job. Downsizing is a reality of life, but it's no fun when you're the one on the chopping block. I can't even imagine what the conversation/fight with Sam would have looked like if Chester would have told her. At least he got his severance pay.

I think it's very awesome of Mike to go out of his way to get Chester a job. Shame on Chester for not even saying thank you though. All he could say was, "Why are you doing this?" ..he needs to get over that and be grateful. I'd roll my eyes if I was Mike too.

I really like Jason in this story. I hope you'll go into more about him in future chapters. He's so down to earth while Mike is uptight and all business. It's a good contrast, and even more so because they're brothers. It's a bummer he lives in a different city.

Will Joe ever come into this story? His presence is missed. By me, at least :)

Something is happening!

Mike helps Chetser to find work and led him to keep company with his younger brother. I love that Mike is exposed at last!

I really liked the story of Jason, new details about the past of Mike.

The end? I can not claim to be sorry about the departure of Sam. I think that Chester will be better off alone.

Anyway. I love Rob more and more every chapter, and I love how nice he's being to Chester. It's about time someone gave the poor guy a break. Aw and I LOVE Elisa. I can just imagine her pinching his cheeks, so adorable. I love Brad, but reading about the way he is toward Chester annoyed me, haha. I was like duuuuude, stop being a smart arse. Either talk to the guy or don't.

"So you have tattoos?" Oh, Chester. Chester, Chester, Chester. What was that? I hope he comes up with some better lines and eventually wins them over though. I'm still a little worried about him and what's going to happen when Sam finds out what he's been up to though.

ALSO, the flashback was awesome. Mike's just always been a hard arse, huh? I love how friendly Jay is. They're so different to each other, I think they compliment each other perfectly.

As for your questions at the end, between Mike and Chester, it's a tough call. Mike's definitely hotter than Chester. Chester's SO MUCH cuter than Mike. So... I think I like them equally, but in different ways, if you know what I mean. As for my favourite amongst the other characters, I'm torn between Rob and Brad. You know me. I nearly always love Brad. Brad's gotta be pretty bad in a story for me not to like him. But Rob! He's such a sweetheart! But so bad arse at the same time. So, I can't decide between them. So there you have it, and I bet you already knew I would say that. Also, I occasionally go back and read old stories if there's not a lot of activity on the site. Which reminds me that I STILL need to go back and read your older stuff. Which I WILL do.

Anywhooo. This chapter was awesome, as I knew it would be, and I'm excited for the next one as well as being SO happy that I managed to read and review this one before it goes up!

Ahhhh sorry I'm so late but Ive read it very early and love it a lot.

Chester seems to be blending in the group and Rob is so sweet to be his guide!! The others, though look kinda defiant but I feel they are taking him in also. They are tough guys so maybe they are not showing their soft side that easy and want chester to be more mature. Personal thought hahaha.

And Robs description of his first meet with Mike, wow I enjoyed that part too much! And I feel I'm more curious about Mike too like Chazy does!

I began to read your story some days ago and relished it. I enjoyed it very much and I have to say that I often got lost in this so nicely written story. I really love it.

I like the whole idea and that you try to involve every member of the band. I like that everyone has its own special role in this AU. The dogs are cute and it's also great that you use some japanese words/sentences. I think it's awesome.

And everything just seems kind of dark and mysterious, so that I totally get why Chester got so freaking curious.

Sometimes I was touched of boredom because it seemed to stuck and to not go forward with the "gang" especially Mike and their new member Chester, but this does not mean I love this story less - its pace is actually perfect, I think I just got too impatient. ^^

Keep this awesome story up. :)
