Just "WOW" I have nothing else to say

Oh, wow. I almost started crying. It's so sad. I love it.

Ok, I'm like almost in tears. This touched me so deeply.. I know exactly how Mike feels and you described it so perfectly.. To love someone for who they are deep down.. but they rarely ever show it unless something bad happens first..

Sounds all too familiar in my life...

Very touching story, my dear.

For some reason this sort of reminds me of Love the Way You Lie.

But it's a really great standalone. I love how Mike's observations (for lack of a better word) are interspersed with Chester's yells. And the fact that Mike still loves him. And the band aid is a good metaphor. And just about everything else in this story. Great job :)

And the scene at the end was so bittersweet :') It made everything much, much more real.

That was really great. It's always sad when someone who's been abused becomes an abuser.

I don't know what gave me more chills. The fact that Chester was so goddamn mean or that I saw myself in Mike.
