I actually really really liked this. It was short and right to the point, packed full of emotion -- which I absolutely love. Chester has everything yet is merely -content- with it instead of elated, which is probably how most of us would have been if we had his life. He doesn't seem to be capable of being happy no matter what he has.. I wonder if it's because he's still hooked on Samantha! Like she was what gave Chester the spark in his life, and now that she is gone, even though he has a new wife and even a lover, he's still secretly pining over the loss of her.
Forgive me if my speculation is wrong, but that's how I imagined it.
"Her hair is fake, but that's okay. At least her breasts are her own." Ok, I about died laughing reading that haha. That was so funny.
This is a great "drabble". I'm actually hoping you write more stories like this, even though you haven't gotten many reviews on it so far. I really like this! So I hope that is encouragement enough =)
I'm still feel funny from having read this! My tummy feels like it's sinking! Poor Chester =( I can just imagine him staring at the painting as Mike tries to "please" him... and yet he feels nothing. That's just... heart breaking =(
