Hello again LPF peeps. It's been quite awhile since I've been active on this site, but like with all things LP related, my love for it has never faded. This place really helped my writing skills and confidence to flourish, and I'll forever be grateful for that and for the awesome people I've met here.

Anyways, a couple years ago life happened in the biggest way. I was hospitalized for almost a year due to some severe mental health issues, forcing me to cut contact with most things in my life. I'm still recovering, still learning to manage my issues, but I am slowly getting there. I'm making progress every day, because recovery is a journey, not a destination. I still have bad days, still feel depressed sometimes, but now I'm able to be at peace, and be grateful for how far I've come. Three years ago I could hardly speak. Now I can smile and laugh, and best of all I can mean it.

I'm writing this because I want people to know, and be reminded that it's okay if you're not okay. Mental illness can affect anyone, and everyone's situation is different. But no matter what you're going through, you're not alone. People love you. I love you. And I believe in you. So please reach out and get help. You deserve to be happy <3

I'm Emma, a med student and aspiring novelist. I've been writing poetry and short stories since I was 15, but never took it too seriously until I discovered LPFiction. Posting here helped me realize how much I love and want to make a career out of writing. This probably goes without saying, but please don't use/post my stories anywhere else without my consent. I live and die on the Bennoda ship, but if it's a good story I can get into and enjoy any pairing. For some reason I'm not too fond of pairings with Joe, but other than that it's all good with me. I also have no preference on dom/sub. I tend to like an equal balance rather than set 'roles'.

I don't like leaving stories incomplete, so I am hoping to finish both of them, even just for my own peace of mind. Not sure when I will do this, but hopefully soon. Sorry for leaving people hanging!
